Hello,
an automatic "add disc-space" by an additional userhome will be nice, but i think it will
be a little intricate after some time. It will be more useful, if we can move a user to an other userhome by a function in obs. obs can block the user for the time of diskmoving. When we doing it now manually, we must stop the obs, move the user and restart obs.
regards

I've found that a slightly more 'end-user friendly' way of moving a user account is to simply set that users quota temporarily to zero bytes. This then stops them from doing any further backups and allows you to move all the files without having to stop the whole OBS service. You then reset the quota to its previous value after moving the files.
Be advised that I haven't tested to see what happens if the end user tries to do a restore while you are moving their files. I suspect the answer will be 'lots of bad things!' _________________ Regards
