I've had a few instances recently where checks have come across broken delta chains, usually caused by corrupt delta's or the likes. OBSR's course of correction appears to be 'dump the whole lot and do a full re-upload'. which is entirely un-necessary unless the original full file is broken, and actually quite painful if the broken chain is a large 80-100gb file (which it usually is!!)
My suggestion for enhancement is that if a broken chain is found, that the next backup be a differential backup from the original full file, this means that the broken delta-chain is irrelevant and can be discarded, and it is not necessary to completely re-upload the file.
