Large files and time/bandwidth limits?

Postby raytaylor » Tue May 21, 2013 9:39 pm

Hi all

I am still evaluating Ahsay and have another question.

I have a potential customer that has an upload bandwidth limit of 500 megabytes per day.

If i were to set a backup schedule to run for two hours with a bandwidth limit 512kbits then that would allow me to spread their backup over several weeks (460 megabytes per day, 60gb in total)

However some of the files are large outlook PST files that are larger than 1gb in size.

If a backup is stopped after 2 hours and the PST file has not fully uploaded, will it resume uploading the file at the next scheduled job, or
would it start uploading the whole file again and never get past it?
