ACB Client stopped running

ACB Client stopped running

I have a Win 2008 R2 server with an ACB client doing simple file backup. It had been running for years.

Now, the ACB client will not invoke or run scheduled backups. If I manually click the ACB icon on the actual machine, I get an hour glass for a second, then nothing.

I have tried uninstall / reboot / reinstall of the ACB client with no joy.

The server is patched up to current with Windows updates.

Can anyone suggest how I might troubleshoot this? Any particular logs I could look at? I'm stumped!

tried running it in debug mode?

Thanks PG,

With the help of Ahsay support, I did run debug mode. A problem was found with Java. I downloaded a newer Java from Ahsay and replaced the /bin/jvm folder. Still no joy.

I uninstalled ACB and installed an OBM client and it works normally now. Guess I will never know why.
