Seedload on a Mac

Postby robgratt » Sat Sep 14, 2013 8:03 am

Hi,

Is there a utility for getting a seedload on a Mac?

Or do you have to use OBM and do a local backup?

I don't want to install OBM if possible, just ACB.

Can I downgrade from OBM to ACB after installation?

So many questions - so little time...

Thanks, Rob

Be careful doing local copy seed load on a MAC.

I have had an instance where I attached a USB disk and set the local copy to /Volumes/untitled with skip offsite, then some tard decided to unplug the USB disk, the result was it created the folder /Volumes/untitled and it seed loaded to itself filling the drive to capacity and breaking the server.

Stupid Macs.

But to answer your question, Seed load the normal fashion on OBM, does a seedload.sh in /Applications/{ACB App}/bin ?

HI, PG,

As usual, an excellent answer!

I assume ACB also has the seedload.sh file?
