Why NCU (Nas Devices) Discontinued?

Postby racassel » Wed Sep 12, 2012 5:11 am

I have an application now to install NAS Device and run Ahsay on it. But reading it looks like NCU has been sunset, and no longer supporting new devices? Why, oh Why?

good question, cant answer it and its anoying.

ive many small companys with only a few workstations and i would love to use 4 disk nas there with a OBM installed on it

since thats not really possible we created now a produkt for em.
a small server 4 disk system based on supermicro, virtualisation and linux (vmware or kvm)
its still more expensive but at least relyable.
